Please make cheques out to: Barrie Branch ORMTA, no cash please. The application form is available on our forms page. If the student has a special request regarding the scheduling, please indicate this on the entry form.

ONE PIECE:
Beginner to Grade 2: $10
Grade 3-4: $12
Grade 5-6: $14
Grade 7-8: $16
Gr. 9-ARCT: $20
TWO PIECES:
Beginner to Gr. 2: $20
Grade 3-4: $20
Grade 5-6: $25
Grade 7-8: $25
Gr. 9-ARCT: $30
Students will be graded similar to exam marking. Students receiving A+ or A will be given awards. (see the entry form for grading) A+ will receive a $25 gift card for Music Pro. Marks of A, will receive a $20 gift card for Music Pro. These students will be asked to perform at the Awards Recital, Friday March 26th, 2010, First Baptist Church. If not enough students receive A+ or A, students receiving A- may be asked to perform also.
Students of any ORMTA teacher in any category (Active, Pre-Diploma, etc.) may enter students. Please do not exceed the time limit of 40 min. performance time per teacher. Teachers will be notified if there is room for more entries.
Students may enter conservatory or non-conservatory selections, including studies. Duets may be entered. All students will receive a written adjudication. These will be mailed to the teacher once grades have been recorded. To receive a mark, memorization is required for all solo pieces. Duets do not require memorization.
Students are required to bring an original copy of the music for the adjudicator. No photocopies will be accepted.
Vocalists are required to provide their own accompanist.
